		MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

Dear Prospective Member:

At the bottom of this page is a link to an application form for membership to our Club. Please print the form, complete all requested information, and mail the application plus a check for $100 to the address indicated on the form.

In order for you to be placed on our waiting list, the application should be completed, signed and mailed to us at SRV Swim & Tennis Club, P.O. Box 443, Saddle River, NJ 07458, together with a check in the amount of $100. The $100 payment will be applied to the membership fees you will be expected to make at the time your application is processed for membership. If you withdraw your application, $50 will be refunded to you.

When we receive these items your name will be placed on our waiting list. Vacancies that occur in the membership are filled from the waiting list strictly in the order of length of time on the waiting list. Of course, we cannot assure you when your application will come up for consideration, but if at any time you wish to know your position on the waiting list, please contact us by e-mail or call our Business Manager, Judy Gerstenhaber during evenings at (845) 352-4298.

If you reside outside Upper Saddle River, you should know that our By-laws permit a maximum of 20% membership from outside Upper Saddle River. A person residing outside Upper Saddle River who is number 1 on the waiting list when a vacancy occurs will be eligible for that vacancy, unless the acceptance of his application would result in a number of members residing outside Upper Saddle River in excess of 20%. If that should happen, the next person on the waiting list who is from Upper Saddle River will be offered membership and consideration of the application of the person residing outside Upper Saddle River will be delayed until the next non-resident vacancy occurs.

You will be notified when a vacancy occurs and you will be required to remit within 10 days from that notice, full payment of the capital contribution, initiation fees and dues. If this payment is not submitted within the 10 days, the offer of membership will be withdrawn and we will notify the next person on the waiting list. Currently the Capital Contribution is $2,000.00 (refundable upon your resignation,) the Initiation fee is $2,000.00 and the yearly dues are $600.00.
